Can some one die and go to hell, spend some hours or days and then come back to life to live some more days?
I do not believe this. Since the Bible says -

1. Bible says there is only One Man who Descended and Ascended ( John 3: 13 - ff)
"And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven."
3. Apostolic Creed Agrees with this.. It reads like this...:
" I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead."
4. The Story of Lazarus is must to look in.
Lazarus was total dead & buried...according to Martha and Mary his body must had been stinking. And Jesus raised him from the dead by calling His name.
This has never ever happened before in the entire history of Israel or the world. Once prophet Elisha raised a boy from death taking his body in to a closed room but it was just within the 24 hours of a day. In the case of Lazarus it was 24 hours. Jesus Himself to raised couple of people beside Lazarus.
But none have ever testified where they had been after they were dead…to hell or to heaven, though it a different matter to believe that Lazarus was in Paradise.
5. It would be a blame on God from the devil. How can God send some to hell and bring back to life? Satan at this point will accuse the Lord’s justice. Sending back from heaven His saints is different than to brining back to life from hell. Once Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus when He was praying and His face was transfigured (Matthew 17: 1 – 9). God has never ever bright a man from hell back to evangelize or to proclaim the Love of God to people or to warn the wrath of God. He need not so, because once man is dead he is destined for Judgment. God would rather show a Vision of Heaven to bring men unto Him.
